Bilingual teachers group

Our Highschool “IES Fuente Roniel” started with a Bilingual Section in the year 2013/14, since then students have been learning the English language not only in the English subject, but also in other non-linguistic subjects.

The aim of this Bilingual program is to improve the four abilities: speaking, listening, writing and reading as a means of learning the contents of different subjects in the English language.

We are a group of enthusiastic teachers who are working in the Bilingual program during this year 2019/20. Students from every level study two different non-linguistic subjects:

1º ESO: Art, taught by Dámaso Sellés Estévez

PE, taught by Dámaso Sellés Estévez

2º ESO: Geography and History taught by Ángela López Vacas

Physics and Chemistry by Antonio Luis Merchán Vacas

3º ESO: Art, taught by Dámaso Sellés Estévez

Physics and Chemistry by Antonio Luis Merchán Vacas

4º ESO: Physics and Chemistry taught by Sara Vázquez Domínguez

PE taught by Teresa Sánchez Fernández

The English teachers are:

1ºESO: Rosario Sánchez Santiago

2ºESO: Isabel Zambrano Suárez

3ºESO: Lucía Sánchez Santiago

4ºESO: DoloresRodríguez Rodríguez

Every year we have an English Language Assistant who comes from native language countries and this year he comes from London; his name is Dylan Mogoi and he supports non-linguistic subjects teachers to improve the abilities of listening and speaking and also to make the communication easier and approach our Bilingual Students the culture of British or American countries
