During this academic year, the IES Fuente Roniel participates in a European eTwinning project with 1st ESO Bilingual students, entitled: “We have no borders”.
ETwinning offers a platform for staff (teachers, head teachers, librarians, etc.), working in a school in one of the European countries involved, to communicate, collaborate, develop projects and share.
Our project is made up of two school partners: one in France and one in Spain. The group from France, specifically from the city of Brzustowsk, is coordinated by teacher Geneviève Gerstheim from the Collège Les Cigognes school who works with ten students. Our group is coordinated by teacher Lucía Sánchez Santiago and works with 18 students. In the image we can see two photos of both groups.
Students will exchange information about themselves, their schools and the traditions of each region. It is about fostering cooperation between the two teachers, the students, the two educational centers and the families. Teachers work as a team to organize activities for their students. They offer them an active role, they interact, investigate, make decisions, respect each other and learn 21st century skills.
